Amy grew up in South West Victoria before heading to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts. She returned to Warrnambool in 2012 and was admitted to practise law in 2013, working at a local firm for 8 years in a range of areas including family law, wills and estates and conveyancing.

Following her passion for access to justice and her preferred practice area of family law, Amy then joined a Community Legal Centre where she served as Principal Lawyer, leading and mentoring a team of lawyers, running a duty lawyer service assisting clients with intervention order applications, and helping clients navigate complex parenting and property matters.

Amy regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, advocating for clients with clarity and confidence.

Amy holds a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law), reflecting her deep commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in her field.

Known for her down-to-earth approach, Amy is pragmatic, empathetic and focused on achieving meaningful outcomes for her clients. She combines legal insight with genuine care, making her a trusted advocate in legal matters.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys travelling, running, reading and spending quality time with her family and her pet dachshund Frankie.
